I think this might be lobelia, but they usually come in a bunch or trailing. It is very beautiful. Those blue flowers are so great. It's hard to find a true blue. It's a wonderul capture. The anatomy of the blossom is so intriquing. Wonderful macro, Randy! Oh, and perfect wallpaper.

I don't have a clue either as to the type of flower, but the one thing I know for sure is ... it is beautiful. I love the blue subtle color. A wonderful shot Randy.

the framing is very well chosen and the flower is very strange indeed. This is definately a flower that grows on Earth, right? lol. Never seen any other of it's kind, but it looks very small though so very well spotted Randys and thanks for sharing.
