Great closeup of this succulent Randy. I'm especially fond of succulents and this one is a keeper. Great clarity and wonderful colors. Thanks for sharing this one.
I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Lovely fractal, Randy. Ooops, I mean lovely cacti, Randy. They all look exactly alike, don't they. They are a very interesting family of plants and this is a really nice presentation.

I am ashamed for those individuals who voted so low as to give this image a 60. It deserves so much better, particularly 4 years ago when the voting was actually better than it is today, and when photographs with such clarity and unusual character were few and far between. I rarely see a head-on shot of a flower or plant to be attractive, opting instead for an oblique view, but it works perfectly in this photo. I once shot a barrel cactus looking straight down on it and liked my result. But I only receive a 36 for it. The frost on your subject is captured nicely with no burnout, something that's hard to control. i know it's belated but you did an excellent job with this one and thanks for sharing it...even 4 years later.
