While I am usuall not fond of the perverbial black framing, on this it is quite appropriate. And with the white stripe it's like suiting these guys up in a tuxedo wrapping as they strut. Great subject and presentation.

I have to say you really had a great idea with that colors choice. The ducks stand out well against the blue waters and despite the simplicity of the composition the photo definitely deserves our attention.

Love the framing you gave it too......The geese look all 'Hoity-Toity' '(stuck-up'?) with their noses in the air!
