You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I believe it means Ireland Forever or some such thing. You'd better ask Andy. I don't want to get in trouble as I may be part Irish, but I am all American!!! Great post, Randy.
Saint Patrick's day in legend is a day celebrating Saint Patrick, (A missionary to Ireland) driving the snakes out of Ireland. In history, Saind Patrick was a roman who was kidnapped by (I believe) celts and taken to Ireland as a slave. Somehow he began to witness to the Irish, and he began to have quite a following. The catholic church at one time asked him to leave Ireland, because they didn't think the dirty celts worth the sweat of evangelism, But Patrick refused (Good guy), and continued his missions work. Saint Patrick used a clover or a shamrock to explain the trinity to the Irish. to Saint Patrick's Day celebrates the man and his contributions to Ireland, and just being Irish.
My family normally celebrates our heritage by having Corn Beef and Cabbage with potatoes with sour cream and butter, and 7-up with green food coloring. I'm at college and I really miss that! = - ]
There's your Saint Patrick's day Info! Have a great day!
