In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

Does a duck drown if it nods off? This has a painterly, charcoal look to it. Ever the adventurer you are Randy. Taking us where no man has ever gone before! LOL Nice job. there's a lot of nice intense contrasts in the image.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is. Albert Camus ........ My Gallery

You know I have such a soft spot for my dear Canada geese and you have given me a totally unique picture to enjoy! I really like the way you created the dreamy effect and it really shows off the pattern of the feathers on the back as well.
Thank you for catching me by surprise with such a lovely photo.

If I had shot a Canadian goose, I would never think to put this type of treatment on it, just because we don't seem to have them here?? Not sure why...must not be in the flyway. At any rate, that you do and did this in such a special way is quite the treat...job well done, my friend.

You have to dream, you have to have a vision, and you have to set a goal for yourself that might even scare you a little because sometimes that seems far beyond your reach. Then I think you have to develop a kind of resistance to rejection, and to the disappointments that are sure to come your way. Gregory Peck
