The European Starling . Please feel free to fire at will on this devestating bird. These are terrible to have around as they're mean & nasty, running off our pretty song birds and even killing Eastern Bluebirds to take over a nest. So...ready, aim, fire!!

I'm wondering if our friends in Europe call this an American Starling! Whichever, they are nasty indeed. I'm also no fan of big brown Cowbirds, which lay their eggs in the nests of songbirds and leave them to be hatched and then raised by others. However, the cowbird nestlings are so much larger and more agressive, they get the food while the songbird young perish. Nature is unsympathetic....

Well, I'm not usually one for bird bashing, but I'll join in, and I do have to say that no matter how many ugly characteristics this unruly bad boy of nature has, you've certainly presented him in a very beautiful way. Nice shot..BAM.....
