After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

The colors..the colors...that orange is the perfect match for the spray painted butterfly...can't say as I've ever seen that in practice, but it sure worked out well for this little guy.
I wonder if this butterfly knows just how beautiful he is and how wonderfully his colors coordinate with those of the lovely orange flower. Let's ask him! Beautiful sparkly wings and a wonderful post, Randy.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Got a soft spot for these guys ... and you captured him/her well.
Sparkly? Yeah, you bet ... I can see the shimmer of the irridescent powder coming off of him.
No sharpening, unsharp ... whatever ... done? Just curious. Doesn't appear to be the case as your focal subjects' stage bears no telltale signs.
In which case, phenomenal clarity ... really well done.
Good composition. I might have been tempted to crop this one a tad to lose some of the negative space in the bottom right. No biggie though ... there is plenty to bring the viewers' eyes up and back to your focal subject.
Yeah ... really nice work. Your skills have definitely improved.
Nice image Randy. I have shot of this fella in my gallery on the same exact flower. I presume they must have a particular liking for these blooms? Hope you enjoyed your visit my friend. thanks for sharing this with me ;=)
