Sorry about the vertical lines, fella was caged. I tried to get past them best I could. I thought he was an interesting bird.

My goodness, what's that on his head, a gyroscope? Totally fascinating shot of a totally fascinating bird. What is it, Randy?

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I thought it was a banana st first ::LOL:: I have to agree with Catharina and Cindy....we want to know what the heck this bird is. Can't say I've ever had the pleasure of meeting one of these crazy looking birds before :)

From the thumbnail, I thought it was a cartoon character bird. This shot is incredible. Wonderful detail and the muted grey background sets him off perfectly!

well he certainly is an interesting looking bird! lol! you did really well to get just very light stripes and the image is so sharp that is irrelevant. It is very difficult to shoot through wire and fences as I discovered today trying to photograph owls and they just look like a box graph! lol! A very sharp and beautiful (even though he is odd) capture Randy!
