I adore these guys! They always strike me as being so cute; maybe it's the way they stop and stand and look around. Good capture, Randy. The colors are so nice.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Had this in the voting booth. And at first glance wasn't sure about the enlarged border ... I think it works after taking it in for a bit.
But wow ... Randy ... your photographic skills have taken a quantum leap forward, if I may be so bold to mention that.
Great DOF, clarity and detail are wonderful ... your shot is exposed very well. Kudos on the technical elements.
Your focal subject? Hmm, could use a visit to the tailor, or it could be summer time molt, not sure. Really the only thing that detracts somewhat visually for me ... and yes, I know most certainly that this is out of your control.
Just a thought, and perhaps next time you can watch for imperfections in an animals' fur/coat and make the best of the shot, 'tis all.
Whew ... I do write a lot, lol.
Nice work behind the camera Randy. Very nice work.
