Look at that baby glow! Great macro, Randy. Lilies are such phenomenally beautiful flowers and you have made this one 'suck us' right in for a closer look. Nice work, Macro Man.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Excellent clarity, composition and color .. my only complaint, and I only say this so that you grow as a photographer .. :o) .. is the juxtaposition of the out of focus flower conflicts with a focus point of the subject .. a minor nitpick in this case ..
I remember one of the first photos you had posted .. the "potted plant" .. this is lightyears beyond that one
Randy, I have to agree with Keifer in all respects. When I get in the field those are the things I look for and try to work around. That extra blast of color in the background, As it's the same color and brightness the two flowers really do compete with each other for the viewers eye. If push comes to shove and there is absolutely nothing can be done to either tone the other flower down I selectively Prune the non-subject matter flower out of the image. One good snip and a pretty vase for the other lily and you have the best of the best, an excellent image and a very pretty flower for the house.
Even with one little nit-pick this is still one lovely image.
great close-up cool reflects and shadows
