Binder Lake is a 650-acre park near Jefferson City, Missouri. It features a picturesque 150-acre lake with excellent fishing for catfish, bass, bluegill, and other species. A boat launching ramp is provided and there is an 18-site campground. There are three ballfields located in the park and there are picnic tables, a picnic shelter, and cookout grills. A large portion of the park remains undeveloped and the inviting trails are an excellent source of exercise and recreation for hikers. Binder Lake is also an excellent place to birdwatch or to take photos.

Nice angle there going around the curve. These are those lovely colors like in your tree shot from the other day. I think I see mist rising up from the water? Very pleasing as Bob said above.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Hmm, where to begin? I like the composition overall, and the foliage is definitely pleasing to the eye. Having said that, this feels washed out. I'd like to see brighter colors and/or more contrast. the glow feature can be quite a useful tool, but when using a black border, especially one of a certain width, understand it's function. Drama. Delineation. Having your image's color(s) bleed out, doesn't really do much for it(IMHO)

While I thinkI get the "muted feel" you're aiming for here, that blah sky, and equally blah sky's reflection...just washes the image out far too much.

sorry dude, this would be a re-shoot for me.
