My favorite of song birds!! The song of the Black-capped is a simple, clear whistle of two notes, identical in rhythm, the first roughly a whole-step below the second.

He's a lovely. I am looking at some right out my window as I type this. They love to stay around in the cold weather. I like the clarity of your close up and I am admiring that squirrel proof feeder. Looks like you feed these guys well. Nice shot, Randy.

Yeah Randy ... Gotta agree with ya" ... these little guys are somethin' else. A favorite of mine as well. The thumbnail for this doesn't do it any justice at all. Only when brought up full screen can the image be appreciated for the marvelous detail and clarity you captured here. Love the sharpness shown in the wings. Nice job.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
