This just in!! Hey yall Mi Casa, Su Casa!! A major ice storm grips the central state plains!! Yup, this is my home. The front yard could use some work!! Anybody gotta chainsaw I can borrow?? 8~O
dude .. you are going to be cursing this day come summer .. no shade
when I lived in Colorado .. winter snows came a little earlier than usual .. and caught all of the trees with more leaves than normal .. all of the trees retained more snow weight ... and SNAPpppppped ... all over town ... power was out for a week for some people .. I would read a book with a candle bobbing up and down on my chest
Man you got it alot worse than we did here, just a little ice but we''re suppose to get more. I got a chainsaw you can use buddy........I think ya could buy one though for the price of gas to get it. LOL
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Well your tree is trashed, but she is going out in a blaze of glory. This really is beautiful. The bad news is that my chainsaw is strictly a summer saw, I didn't get the snow tire option :)
That΄s really not a good thing that has happened to the poor tree and to you. I hope you have some photos of it for remembering the beauty of it. You have a nice house. and it is a great photo!
lol Randy! get out the chainsaw! that poor tree is weighed down so heavily with ice and rain that you will you need to carve your way through to get to get to the front door! lol! thanks for letting us see where you live, now I am going for a nosey around the house - you know what women are like!!! lol!

I feel for you Randy, I got hit pretty hard too. My power has been out since Saturday morning also. I have some good photos of my birds with ice all around them I will post soon. I saw the other photo also, glad no birds were hurt, get them feeders back up quick. Good luck to you.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
your sky is blown out, try a graduated neutral density (GND) .. and, dude? what up with the car bumpers? .. clone those bad-boys out ... get out the leaf blower and make that debris in the road skidaddle prior to snappage .... and I think your roof trim should be white to match the windows
If I got this in the booth, I'd give it a 5 .. (*looks at the CI*) ... see? I told you
Oh, I know it ain't a very good pic...was just a point of interest / local news. That's why the upload size is smaller too. No post work, just sized down to send to family 'n' friends. This one made the local noon news yesterday, I'm famous at last!!
I unfortunately didn't get an opportunity to dive in for some cool frosty macros...too much other stuff to do and it was drizzling damp to boot.
I can't believe this is at a 51 right now...HAHAHA!! I'd have given it a 2, no more than 3 for sure.
