That ain't no "Mean Street" ... it is, however a mean fractal.
Contrast/brightness? No problem here. However, if ... if, you wish to post-sweeten these kinds of flames ... import it/them into PS.
The program itself, with its' inherent controls ... gamma, brightness and vibrancy ... are not very user friendly with the flames that this script creates, and as a final result ... the colourations.
