I looked at it full size, as I do all images. What the heck happened to his eyes? Is he blind? And what does he use on his hairy body? Looks like some kind of Brylcream. Well, anyway...I like the image. Very nice.

He's and Alpha alright.
The effect you have applied to this photo appears to have pared it down and left just his personality showing.
The only thing I dont like is his vacant looking eyes. I would have liked his eyes left untreated :)
