This is a lovely capture. The clarity, colour and detail are brilliant. I really love that aqua colour around his eye and top beak. Well done!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
Randy that's a really good shot. I try a lot of wildlife photography, but aside from the difficulty of getting them in focus, exposed correctly, and composed, because they move constantly, you also have the difficulty of finding an appropriate background to blur out. You hit all four perfectly with this one. Your depth of field got all the important bits in focus while allowing the undesirable parts to blur out. Oh, I almost forgot. The lighting is even perfect. I hate you. ;-)
