We took a walk down Lake Shore Rd on Mackinac Island. There were many beautifully landscaped yards so we stopped to take a few photos. I love this view of the Mackinac Bridge in the distance. You can really appreciate the scale of the bridge that crosses Lake Michigan/Lake Huron at the Straits of Mackinac. June 2007.

As evidenced by your photo, it is hard to take a bad photo from the Mackinac or of Mackinac.
Mackinac is not as it once was. The scenery is still beautiful but the island is a major tourist trap.

I should have stayed in Phoenix
I see you had a difficult decision to make between a full fence (the one in the background) and the tree to the left and possibly an unobstructed view of the bridge itself. I love the flowers, grass & fence. Personally I would prefer a little less brightness. Thanks for sharing.
