nicely done but not too original as it comes snapping at the heels of Chutter's Caedes Island submissions. a good render though.

Nice work. You've done a much better job with the water than I've managed so far. Did you construct the island from scratch or cheat like me?

God used terragen to make the world.
There's a plugin for Terragen that lets you import BMP's as terrain files. I got the simple Caedes spider desktop from this gallery, converted it to a BMP and started from there.

This is a very unique idea! Add a little greenery and a bit of sand and it would look exactly like an island chain!
