Elm Hill is one of the oldest streets in Norwich and is a leap back in history. It was largely rebuilt after the great fire of 1507 but still retains its Tudor character to the present day. The narrow cobbled streets are flanked either side by genuine Tudor houses some of which are now pretty little shops. It’s a rather startling fact that there are more Tudor houses in Elm Hill than in the whole of the City of London.

What a nice little street. I bet it must be nice, walking there, when the sun is shining. And once again, you are really good in those nightshots.

Gotta love this wonderful nightime shot of this captivating street. I particularly like the light reflections off the cobblestones. Can't help but want to take a stroll through this inviting area rich in history.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Wow Jan! This is eerie at first, but then it turns to the eye and invites to go for a walk around that next corner, and then the next. Maybe even step inside a pub if a nice one gets in the way.
Imagination-arousing is how I'd describe this one. =)
