Continuing todays "industrial" theme! lol, heres some rails that me and annie found on our trek the other evening! We stood on a bridge, she waved at a train driver and was most excited that he waved back at her, bless, what it is to still get excited about the little things lin life that we forget as we get older and bogged down with SSDD! lol

A great linear composition - a 'different day' for you indeed! I know, we sometimes forget the little things that make others happy - even just a smile in passing. Nice to see you branching out!!

very special picture to me Jan because when my son was 2 years old we have bin making picture of him standing among the rail but they all went wrong because of the sun was standing to low into the station, so overexpose, sadly so this is a memory for me:)) looks very good btw:)) LOL

Very nice story and this picture is very beautiful for something as simple as rails. You are a genius my friend.

Hi Jan,
Very beautiful story, we do care too less about those little things,
The rails make an interesting subject,
I like the colors, the dark shadows and of course the rails themselves,

Thanks for sharing that special moment with us

This is good. The rail switch over tells of possibilities. Where do each set of rails go? Reminds me of the road not taken just with a locomotive twist. Nicely done!

This image has great style Jan. Love the black and silver, the purity of the few lines. It looks haunting and is an excellent work. :)

Nothing wrong with simplicity ... especially when it's done this well. Perfect in B&W and perfect for a vertical presentation. SSDD went over this old-timers head ... Please don't tell me I have another ailment to be concerned about. The list is long enough as it is. :o)

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Are these the tracks of life? A man's and a woman's lives joining at one point or seperating never to connect again? Or maybe it simply shows us that we do have choices in this world. Thought provoking -
