Uh, Africa? LOL - very nice capture of the "King". The "new baby" - I'm assuming you have a new camera and weren't tossing a baby out there to lure the lion in for the shot - does quite a nice job. But, the camera is only as good as the person behind it, makes it. Apparently your camera has a very good master - well done -

Nice lion capture Jan. Congrats on the new camera...tell us about it. You must have been to the zoo...great minds :) The weather was perfect for it which right now for us is unusual. It's rained for 40 days and 40 nights... ;) Well done here and nicely framed as well. Good job.

Ok Jan. What kind of camera did you get? If it's a Cannon Rebel, I'm gonna cry! :-(...
Nice shot of the lion. I like the look on his face. The king of beasts looking down on his subjects.

Would you still laugh, if I guess Africa? No? So I say Zoo and be the winner. Very good image of this king. I love it.

It's a nice close-up and in sharp focus. I dont care for the lighting, though.

He's pretty beat up, which may be normal for an adult, male lion, I don't know...and is that blood down near the tip of his mane? Not for my desktop.

Wow...Anastasia has a great eye. I would never have noticed that blood on his mane. Well, it could be viewed as a good thing..at least he isn't' hungry..lol..

Blood? It's ketchup from his fries. Hand him a napkin somebody. Beautiful job, Jan. He's intent on something and luckily it's not you. Thanks for sharing.
