yesterday I thought: oh, heading to stonehenge and no photo from there? but then I decided to wait some days and here it is ;o)
great shot and interesting treatment :o)
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOMEPAGE
So that's what Stonehenge looks like. I bet there's a really comprehensive and acurate explanation as to it's creation too, can't wait to hear it:) Great image Jan.
I'm not sure that the explanation for this place is right for everyone, but I certainly appreciate the history and the mystery behind it, and I love how you captured it. So many times you see the circle aspect of it and miss the very fact of the nice textures and how the elements have worn the stone pieces away.
Hello Jan...A wondeful capture of Stonehenge...The angle you have taken this is spot on...I must say it is a pleasure to view...When I was in the Royal Navy I used to pass Stonehenge at least once a month...I have one in my gallery...Well done ....All the best...Mick.
Hi Jan,
I used to live in Andover which is pretty close to Stonehenge, during my Police career, I always got caught to be on duty during the summer soltice. As a result the stones hold very little mystery any more. However, that should not take anything away from the excellent quality of this work. For the sake of nostalgia I faved it. I have some amusing stories about that place ;) but they will have to remain secret!
