After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

It has something of a drawing. Yes, not the most sharp image of the word, but still ... beautiful.

I can see why you wanted to preserve it. You're right. The colors are really special and I think you did a fine job.

Jan, this view is very striking. In fact, this is on my desktop and looks awesome. Beautifully composed and fine clarity. I like the softness of this view - whatever effects you used worked well. Love the stately Palm trees in silhouette, and the green and gold colours are perfect. The simple frame works in picking up the green tones. Super job!

so you were sitting inside a tourist bus huh?
well, sometimes you can make the best shots when you don't expect them, and this one might be the best example for that theory ;o) plus the excellent treatment, of course!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Hey Jan,
It might not be the best picture you took there, but you sure made it very beautiful with those soft and painty manipulations,
I've been to Sorrento-Naples myself a few years ago, hope you had a great time there (=8,

Thanks for sharing
