The name of those beauties is 'TriPetaledCarnationBulgaris'. The photo is fantastic as is the presentation and composition. As usual, you post a superior image for us to enjoy.

oh wow what an image this is. I am always consious of where I am stepping when I go into the forrest, you never know what you might step on, and it ain't always as pleasent as this flower you have shared with us. Thanks for sharing and have a great rest of week.
This shot is very well done. I love the atmosphere it conveys and the lighting on the trilliums as it comes through the forest tree branches onto these lovelies is wonderful. Around here I have only seen the red ones.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Yes, they're Trillium, as mayne said, we have a lot of them here too. This is absolutely beautiful...your composition, light, everything is just perfect. Well done! 10
The prettiest trillium picture I've seen on Cades. I'm having to add you to my friends list, Jan, because I keep finding pictures in your gallery that I love and have missed. I'm not likely to comment on every picture, but I don't want to miss your beauties.
