I think these guys are really cool! There is an Ecotarium in Montreal that has a pequin niche very much like this. This is a wonderful life like shot. It's not through glass, is it because it is so wonderfully clear and detailed. I'll keep this image to look at these guys from time to time. Thanks, Jan.

Of course I never heard of the commercial, but I can appreciate your take. I put this under the heading of "animals" and not "bird" in my faves for some reason. They just seemed like they were more than just a bird.
