I bet you took a trip down to my swamps here in Louisiana and went to the bird sanctuary braving the aligators, black bears, nutrias and oh, so many very venomous serpents. Waited until the right moment to take this magnificent photograph. Great job. Am I right as to where you took this photo>??

Another terrific post, Jan! I always thought of swamps as non-descript, but you are making one into an oasis for wildlife in these posts. Wonderful!
