Hey Jan,
Beautiful picture, very beautiful,
I actually like this color rendering better than the B&W equivalents,
Lovely reflections, great clouds too, they set a dramatic mood,
I've found a infra red tutorial here (the info is in the full size image) which I find quite useful for treating the images,
Beautifully done,
Thanks for sharing
Have a great weekend
♥Warm regards♥

Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
Apparentlly you're not alone in liking this Jan. Wish I could say I liked too ... but "liked" doesn't cut the mustard for this one. Nope, being dumbstruck by the beauty here would be more true. I think the infrared here makes this a super image.
please let me write here as substitute for your last posts.
I also enjoyed the others, but this one is just awesome, wonderful, like right out of a dream, cannot think of other words ... ;o)
my vernissage was very nice and the party afterwards was kind of wet *LOL*
This is such an awesome shot...right into my favorites, no question about it! Everything about this shot is stunning...the use of infra red really makes it great. Very well done!
Well, I think that Sabine must have said it for the rest of us..either that or she was with Chris at the party after the showing his his artwork :) This is definitely your best yet, and I found no matter what that shooting in RAW is a great way to go.
WOW.. Jan... this is just beautiful.. I was so lucky and got this in the VB and gave it a 10... the colour is perfect the whole scene is just fantastic.. love it.. its in my favs..
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
