WOW... this is a great piece of photography Jan.. love the b&w it's perfect for the image... it gives definately gives it the feeling of lost and neglected... excellent work..
Another dramatic shot here! The barn looks so derelict and probably even more so in the composition, If this was in colour it would be nowhere near as interesting.
Wonderful shot, Jan, especially in the infra red. There's an old barn I keep thinking of photographing, but every time I go by, it isn't the right lighting for the best shot. This is perfect and so nice I wish it were mine. lol Really nicely shot.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

neglect of this once working barn...waiting to end its useful life as the weathering has complete control...little bit of love...could change it forever...

I love old barns, they have stories to tell. Jan when you find these things do you just take them from the road or do you venture closer. I found a country road with about 20 wood barns but they will be hard to get from the road and I am afraid to venture onto private property.
