Great! You found the perfect spot for that image. It is not easy taking shots of stairs like that. I tried it and failed ... I hope you took a lot of shots there. I already love that place.

I recall climbing many of these kinds of staircases in England, wondering all the while when the last step would appear. lol Great job on this, Jan. The golden color is wonderful. It appears the stairs are very well lit.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Jan, recently I've climbed many spiral stairs towers in order to make some rooftop images. I never succeeded in making a good image of any spiral stairs (simply because I'm very tall and didn't have any room left to use my camera, lol). So I have to make you my compliments achieving this wonderful result. Very good work! Regards, Cornelius
It's like the descent into the bowels of hell. Or what happens after you fall down the plughole....Your trademark luminescence, originality and attention to detail really stand out.
When I seen the title I thought you had done a farctal...lol. NIce soft focus and these steps look steep. Don`t know if I`d fancy walking down them? ( well with heels on anyway ;)
