With the lovely english weather we have had all year, i am still uninspired to move my butt and go somewhere to take shots... lol.. but i did move it as far as the garden today... and look what i found! :-)
The only thing that I don't wanna do is to take a shot a spider, I'm so affraid to see it, but this shot, is really nice. You must be so brave and good job!!!
Oooooo, I'm glad you discovered him! I find spiders to be so fascinating! And your shot of this one is particularly so. I love how you did the gradient too. It's an amazing shot, you can even see the water droplets!

This is just too cool! I save every spider picture to my favorites. And I think this is my new favorite spider pic.
I can't stand the bugs themselves but they a wicked awesome in photos.
Great post, and thanks for sharing it :-)

Well done. I especially like how the yellow background makes the yellow markings on the spider really pop. Having said that - I am deathly afraid of spiders. Not sure how you got so close.
Jan, that's a very nice image for my wife as she's very afraid of spiders. Think when I'll show her this image, I have to sleep in another bedroom tonight (lol). On the other hand you've proved that not every woman has fear for them, else you weren't able to capture this wonderful image. Regards, Cornelius
Well, just look at this lemon/lime baby so attached to his self constructed abode waiting for his dinner! I love that dof and the font is as effervescent as you are! lol
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Almost always adore your posts and this is no exception. Colours are brilliant, how did you get that background to chime so well with the colours on his body? And the little 'cross' on his back that you've made the focus of the image is magic.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
I love the colors and the clarity of your picture. The fact that the spider is not in the center of the picture gives a preety nice effect to it.Great shot!
Treasures in the garden, a very nice one, (~8
