"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Indeed, it is, Jan. A lovely color blue for this and the duckies look like the are far out into the water. I almost didn't notice in the thumbnail, but they really add to the scene.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Simple and lovely. I won't make the obvious comparison.....
The more I look at this the more I can feel the strain slipping away. The colour is brilliant and the straightforward composition really effective. A bit zen really isn't it.
Jan, you are talking about 'some more Norfolk broads', but I think I missed the other one(s). A couple of days ago I posted an image with the title 'tranquillity' as well. It's very nice to see that the same theme has different and very surprising interpretations. To me you did a perfect job with this image! Regards, Cornelius

A place to sit, stand, take images, drink something, have some snacks, but most important, a place to get some rest, (~8
Beautifully done,
