A random shot from my car when stuck in a traffic jam. The light was beautiful and it was misty, and the sheep were all following each other like they do...
I love this so much, that it ended in my favs. The light and the sheeps look perfect together. They invite me to count them. One, two ... three ... zzzzzzzz
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
The third sheep from the back looks a little wooly around the edges. Great shot from auto. We get in trouble for shooting animals from the road here in the US of A. The border kinda made a little corral for them, so they won't get hit in traffic.
Good post Jan.
Right Jan, you and me are going to have words. You post a lovely, well thought-out shot with a "Oh, this is just random snapshot I got while I was driving down the M1 with a fag in one hand and curling tongs in the other" and expect us to believe you. The mist was really cigarette smoke and exhaust fumes too I suppose?
This is really lovely, and a welcome reminder that spring will be here eventually. I love the angle of the gate and the frame. Great stuff!
PS I'm sure you don't smoke, do your hair and take pictures on the motorway really.
Traffic Jam certainly wasn't on Broadway and 5th now was it? I think it is more like a Wyoming High Country Traffic Jam. The only Jam I could think of was you were in your Jammies when you took a walk down the road and found this. Or were the sheep all jammed up? I love sheep and I really love this post. I collect them there Sheep. Beautiful lighting and softness to this post. I wish I were the one standing next to you seeing the real thing. Sheepishly Grinning just thinking about it. Jodie
Thanks in advance for everyone's kind words in regards to my pics. <a href="http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Caedes::Gallery&author=jodie38mader&page=1.
Not Baaaad, not baaaaaad at all. (sorry, had to) lol! Boy I wish that's what I had to look at when I was sitting in traffic jams! Really fantastic capture Jan. What else do you see in traffic jams there? You could do a traffic jam series! You could call it Jan's Jam Tour! Yeah! lol! Very beautiful shot Jan:)

Jan, in Holland we have the saying: 'Als er één schaap over de dam is, volgen er meer' (something like 'When one sheep is through the fence, the other will follow' = come one, come all). To me your image is a wonderful reflection of that saying. Well done. Regards, Cornelius

Yup...that's where I happened on this great shot..in the voting booth, and you can't blame me if this doesn't get the high score it deserves..you blew me away and I gave it a 10.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hello Jan....I just love this photo..everything about it is so natural....Give yourself a pat on the back for this beauty....Well done...All the best....Mick.
Sigh. When I get in a traffic jam all I see are lots of cars and trucks with impatient drivers. I wish I could see such a nice bucolic scene while in such a mess. You have made the most of your opportunity and captured these fluffy guys beautifully.
