You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I faved this one. Yes it's a 10 also. I'd give it a 14, one for each tree if I could. Now I know what the Big Feller was looking at. All those pretty maidens. Excellent work Jan. You should get out and about early in the morning more ofter. By the way, are you close to airport? Looks like a fly zone.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

You are just SO good at spotting the potential in scenes like this, and you have such a wonderful distinctive style. Fabulous banded colours and the line of the trees is just sublime. I really don't know how you do it.
An exquisite composition. The row of silhouetted trees is stunning, and the sunset is a vision of beauty. Vivid fall colours help to make this image postcard perfect! This is a definite winner Jan!
My dear friends! I hope you forgive me for not commenting and answering that much recently. Thats because of the weather situation here, that takes all my energy. I promise to do better as soon as there will be more sun again. Smile

I just wonder how many fantastic images like this we've all misssed because we couldn't get two feet on the floor when we needed. OK, maybe you've got a great eye for composition and color, too! Thanks for the beautiful image ... and also for reminding us about the effort!
