Very imaginative composition indeed, if I’d change anything it would be to tweak the perspective distortions to make everything a little more aligned and geometric. A tricky shot but a fine effort.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
Hi Jan, I love this pic. I thought all shots of the eye had been covered, but you've gone and proved me wrong. I love the colour in this too, and appreciate how difficult it was getting a focused pic when this thing constantly moves. One question however, I'm seeing a lot of your pics from London in the DARK....one from a graveyard....you don't have a long black coat, and 2 very sharp teeth do you???? ......ooooh.... :-/ LOL
Wonderful, wonderful!! How did I not know this was yours when I emerged from the VB to see who belongs to this image? Fabulous work as always, my dear. I love the view and all the great colors in the night.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Looks great to me. So many colors and so much to see. I like the frame and the angle. I've never been there until now. Just a great photo. You do have a lot of night shots. Hmmmmm
Happy New Year.
Jan, think these difficult light conditions require a tripod to make a good image. How you've fixed that in the (moving) London Eye? Excellent capure!

Got this in the VB...high marks from me. It really makes me with I was there at night instead of during the day...it looks a completely different experience!

This is a stunner Jan, the intense blues of the 'Eye' against the deep reds you always seem to manage to get in your shots of London at night. Fantastic perspective too, and the composition is bang on - you could view the Thames like another big wheel in this photo, with the 'spokes' of bridges, buildings and streets coming off it. Makes me remember what I'm missing being away. Phew it's hot in this internet cafe. Did I mention I was in Thailand? ;-)
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
