Just back from a few days away in Scotland! I will catch up commenting today, i hope :-) Thanks for views and comments and sorry im behind as always it seems lately! This river was just outside my chalet, so i didnt have to go far to get some shots, that place was beautiful! This was around 7am yesterday morning! YAY i finally got to photograph snow after all my whining about not having any, and then arrived back here after a 13 hour drive and snow here too! (not much, but YAY snow, now i just have to defrost my car and get my ass to work, boo hoo)! lol

I know the river well and you have caught it beautifully Jan. The fees for fishing are a bit steep these days though which is why I stay down in Glen Moriston by Redburn Chalets where I can get it for £0.00 !!! Love the frosted greens and the water stillness. Tommy

Click here to see WHITBY through the lens of Frank Meadow Sutcliffe! PS I have no commercial link but Sutcliffe's photographs are historical! and any photographer worth his salt should at least know the history of their subject. He is one of the reasons I consider myself lacking, by the way. TG

The muted colors and the composition is perfect Jan. You're so funny with your narrative. I was wondering if you got your ass back to work on time. Excellent photo.
