Pretty girl, and an excellent portrait. Now I have to go Googling to find out what infracam means.

I agree with Jen and the others, it`s a beautiful portrait and I think it looks more like a softer B/W than IR but the white leaves kinda give it away. The lighting and shadows are superb. Looking very clear as well...you need to tell me more about this IR camera, do you not need the long exposures? how do you do the modification? can you undo it? Great photo and I`m sure Keely would love it.

Ian :)

What is infracam? I never even heard of that. But this shot is gorgeous...and the young woman is precious. Please tell us more of this, and I really like how you did this. I think maybe the leaves are a bit too light...might need a bit more contrasting shadows, but then, what do I know of this infracam? lol..Verena

Very good exposure. Those are about the best skin tones I've seen in and IR photo. Kudos.

Good job that 'infracam' don't do live ammo!...that gal woulda really been 'shot'!!!

Different aspect of photography Jan...looks great...brings out a lot of details in the image...perhaps that's why most 'models' would never be 'shot' with one!....might see all their 'blemishes' eh!...

You did a lovely job on this little missy!

A NOTE TO ALL MY FRIENDS: I WILL BE COMMENTING LESS ON PEOPLE IN MY “FRIENDS” LIST SO AS TO MAKE TIME FOR VIEWING ALL “NEW IMAGES” AND ENCOURAGING OTHER PEOPLE OF WHOM I MAY NOT KNOW OR ARE NEW TO THE SITE. I WILL STILL VIEW EVERY IMAGE OF MY FRIENDS AND STILL COMMENT ON SOME IF I CAN GIVE A GOOD CRITIQUE OR MENTION WHAT I LIKE OR FEEL IS REALLY WORKIN’ WELL IN THE IMAGE. AS FAR AS MY IMAGES IF YOU HAVE A COMMENT ON HOW I CAN IMPROVE AN IMAGE I REALLY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT SO AS TO LEARN AND BETTER MYSELF.

Everything about this little beauty is soft, the edges, the dappled light and the subject. It all works far as I can tell. Whatever her "natural" colouring is it works magically with what the IR has produced. You even got matching bright areas in both lower corners of the image to sandwich/balance the darkest area thru the centre. Great photography Jan. You picked a brilliant moment to fire this one off to, her "pose" seems entirely relaxed and draws the viewer in rather than challenging us. Sweet work all round.

A very soft and romantic feel about this. Would have preferred if the model looked up and more toward the camera though.

Hey Jan,
I like this 'infra-girl',
I love the pose, especially the partly shaded touch that seems to enhance the expression,
I also like the ivy on the right,
Interesting to see how it reflects infrared light,
Nicely done,

Thanks for sharing

Both images are amazing, because of her being so beautiful and your photo skills, but this one is a bit better, since there is more space around her, that allows her to shine brightly.

That's certainly something different. I like both versions, but the IR gives this one a softness that's really lovely. I like the way it's made Keeley's hair bright blonde and the colour of the ivy behind too.
