if I had to be piccy...i would have shown more beach and less sky to make it a super thirds composition!..

Jan, this is a wonderful post. To me, not primary because of the image (sorry for my honest opinion) but primary because of the great atmosphere. In Zeeland, The Netherlands, we have similar mudflats and it's wonderful to be there, in order to 'recharge', only in the company of some seaguls, 'the battery'.

I love this moment, when it's got light and you're waiting for the sun to appear above the horizon. I'm so glad you nagged me to take my camera out! This one captures that moment really nicely.
