I love it Dimps and I am not a treehugger although I think they are great. Such nice coloring and textures in this one. Methinks the ivy might be poison. Scratch, scratch. I bet this tree walks around at night. Excellent post. Faved.

Very beautiful capture with great details and colors.
Since I caught some trees still wearing there socks they are a bit careful while I'm around... but it's good to see someone else also found evidence of them being alive. LOL

First time that i've looked at a tree and had it look back at me. A great find Jan, and an excellent post.

I've spent many a night facing a tree,Mind there's normally someone between me and the tree..Now i see why they complain so much...Like this closeup Pet..Richie x.

I saw this in the VB and it reminded me of something out of the Enchanted Wood (did you ever read The Faraway Tree?)

A rell nature's work of art - great capture.

This is beautiful, Jan, with the lovely moss to the left, the tree bark textures and the colorful entwining ivy. You have the eye. (no pun)

Well I am hopelessly behind, as you know life has been getting in the way. Love the softness in this one and the slight creepiness that comes from the 'eye'. The ivy around it makes it work I reckon, sort of gives a sense of something 'creeping'.
