Wonderful Dimps. It is a good entry for the contest. I think this contest is going to be very successful. There are many great shots and just add this to the list.
Outstanding B&W with the play on the black vs. white (right to left) really stand out and shouts and the birdie really makes it sing with its placement!!
O.o omg. You just smashed my entry into the dirt. That is absolutely fantastic! I love the raindrops glistening on the swans feathers. I get this in the voting booth it's getting a ten and It's going into my favs RIGHT NOW!

Wooow... what a beauty!! I'm just amazed by it. Love the way you caught this swan. Even she bows to u're mastery :P ... & those raindrops, creating waves in the water & droplets on her... Just wonderful! Elegance, beauty, simplicity, detail, all in one :). Great piece of work.
And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
It looks like a swan pat!! All flattened and spread out on the water. You are so artistic Jan, who else could take something as everyday as a swan and turn it into an image like this.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

There are so many things I love about this picture! I'm amazed it doesn't have a score in the 90's. Wow! Now I don't feel so bad when mine tank. Awesome contest entry and faved here.
