Beautiful job, Jan. I see that the top is spinning. That's a unique take. It would have been so much easier to photograph with the top being still, but you did it the hard way! I wish I could have watched as you were photographing. :)
If it wasn't spinning it would fall over Dimps. I haven't seen one of those in years but I can remember spinning my head off with one much like it. Now we just spin out of control.
Colors are really indicative of my youthful exuberance. Very nice post.
This is pretty cool and imaginative, Jan. How many time did you have to spin the top in order to get the shot you wanted? This is an image that makes for smiles - well done -
I have darkroom equipment and it has great lights, I should try some of this idea you have. These toys looks so whimsical. Ya I agree with Nigel...you probably had a lot of time playing with them eh?! I know I would. I love how bright the colours of these toys are against the white background. Please do some more of these kinds of shots, I think you found your forte'! Verena
Another Great shot! Very clever to have the Top spinning. It deserves a much higher C- Ind me thinks. I need to get some of that lighting! Dont be surprised if you get a some questions from me soon :)
Even though this one has a lower score, personally I think this subject works much more in conjunction with the background; both are clean and bright and simple.
