I like it too Dimps. Reminds me of something you would see in an old war movie. Life going on despite the nightly bombing. Great post.

Wonderful definition, Jan. When I was there, the place was covered with scaffolding.

It was an inspired idea of yours to shoot this in black and white, for the first time I got some decent shots of St Paul's. This is great, I think the timing adds as you've got the bus at the bottom. It's certainly dramatic and not just a little spooky.

OH Jan, this is just magnificent! I tell ya what, I rarely give a ten, but this time I did! The b&w is gorgeous, perfect. But the thing I love, besides the architecture here, are all the British double decker buses and all the activity around St.Pauls. It's just fantastic. This photo has so much life, and such drama! The shade towards the bottom half of the building and then the light on the top part, calling massive attention to the figurines.! Wow. You captured the whole thing just beautifully!! Verena

Dramatic lighting indeed, especially with that fluffy sky behind the building.

Great shot :o)

Have my doubts whether this one is taken with your IR-camera or not Jan. Whatever camera you've used, it's a fabulous post! 'Saved & faved'of course.
Thanks!
