i have no clue what this tree is, i didnt get close enough to inspect the leaves as i was in a hurry. i liked it never the less! :-)

Mighty old oak could be from "Gone With the Wind", a massive majestic beauty. Love the comp and skies complimenting the scene.

If it was here in Kansas, it would have to be one of three trees. Oak, Maple, or Black Walnut. That's the only ones strong enough to handle KS winds. All the other trees end up stunted from getting snapped off all the time. Great shot Jan!
