Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Beautiful, Jan! I love the high contrast and the interplay of shapes and shadows between toes and fingers. Looks like it was a fun photo shoot. Smashing capture.

If ever there was a photo that was the personification of my wife's attitude toward and relationship with children, babies in particular, it's this one of yours, Jan. It will warm her heart. Whenever we go somewhere that involves a bunch of people we either know (to any degree) or family, if I lose track of her in the crowd I just look around for a baby and that's where she'll be. Thank you for submitting this beautiful slice of life (and one of the best slices in the entire pie, by the way). :D Saved and Faved.
