This would have to be one of my fav pieces.... Once again done in hot melted coloured wax.. Enjoy..... Jacqueline .....................................................................

Brilliant red fills the sky...

As I watch it from mountain high...

Another day over a new one to begin..

I wonder what tomorrow will bring......

I look out across this magnificent scene...

Everything looks so peaceful, so serene...

Everything is cast in a redish glow...

How I wish I didnt have to go..........

When im up here looking at this...

The real life I do not miss...

My head always seems so perfectly clear...

No confusion, heartaches, nothing to fear.......

Wish I could stay here like this...

Where its peaceful, quiet... oh such bliss...

To watch the sunset such a beautiful red...

But now its reality....

time to go to bed...........

I agree with you. The colors and texture show your idea clearest in this one in my opinion. Again, amazes me that you have the patience for this.

I find it relaxing doing these paintings.. as for patience.. thats another story... lol

The wax paintings i have put on here are all on postcard size materials... that gives you an idea of how hard it is to work with.. :)

I'm sure that 'in person' the texture is just as much a part of the image as the paterns and colors are. Thanks for filling me in on the technique but I think I would just be a mess and in pain.

Wow! This is superb. Wonderful colors and they blend together so well with a warm feeling. I like the poem with it too. Did you write that? Very nice. 10 and a new wallpaper. :)

yea... wow... that seems to be the word for this picture... it's dramatic, yet is subtle with the color changes and... yea... wow.

I believe in the sun even though it is slow in rising. I believe in you without realizing. I believe in rain though there are no clouds in the sky. I believe in truth even though people lie. I believe in peace though sometimes I am violent. I believe in God even though he is silent. --Unknown

Must have missed this first time round. Love these, they are so unique and the colours are nothing less than spectacular. I would love to see this in person because i'm sure a digital image cannot do it justice. Feel free to send me any unwanted ones:) Please let me know when you post any more....

Cheers.........

This work is truly mesmerising, i really love the powerful hot colours that you used in this painting. I espescially love the delicacy with which the painting is made.
