Such a great creation Jac...one has the sensation of floating away with the mermaids! I will have to show this to hubby..he loves mermaids. I like the choice of colors here for they are fav's of mine, but I wonder what it would look like it shades of blue-greens that more mimic the real water? Just thinking (dangerous sport, I know :) Thanks so much :~)

I like that you chose a very smooth flame for this one. I love how it fans out and covers most of the composition too. It provides the perfect resting place for your main mermaid. I'm not sure how I feel about the second one though she doesn't affect my high vote one bit. I'm just a Simpleton you know. ;o I think the colors well represent many seen in our deeper oceans and compliment the image. Nicely done.
