This little fella visits all the time, when im in the garden he's right beside me or when im hanging out the washing he sits on the line, one of the friendliest birds around here... enjoy
He's a beauty! He was even nice enough to pose a nice clear shot for ya... Great clarity and composition there Jacqueline. You put up such amazing photos!! Carol
What a darling bird you captured here Jac. The yellow ,sunny breast he has matches the patch of sunlight coming through the trees! :)...he looks like he can chirp a few songs..my cardinals do that. They "serenade" me when I am outside. Is the real name for this bird Willy Wagtail? I wish we had something as cute as that here. I am envious :)
Thanks for sharing him with me though :~)
Oh, by the way, thanks for stopping by & leaving such warm words on ~painted moth~. You have them in Aussieland? Are they huge there too? This one was quite a phenomena at the butterfly conservatory....we had to patiently wait our turn to get a quick shot off of him before he chose another tree to hang around on :). We sure enjoyed him & I am glad that I was able to share him with my friends :~). Drop by anytime, your support is always appreciated :~)
Great clear shot. I like that you are far enough out to get a sense of him in a "home environment", but close in enough that he's definitely the focal point 8•).
What a beautiful bird Jacqueline ! Is he really called a Willy Wagtail ? That's a fantastic pic from you hon, just what'd I expect, BTW....clean & crisp & oh so clear ! Beautifully captured as well ! Well done !
Amazing shot Jacqueline. You must be lucky to have such a feathered friend, a true little companion. You really caught it in the right time. No wonder, I guess it did pose you willingly. And it looks great against the fuzzy background. Top marks.
Ooo you got in close for this one. You did well to get it too, they usually move on me just as the focus snaps in. He stands out well against that blurry background, that’s nicely done.
