This was using my trusty Sony point-&-press. The draw-back is a flash close to the lens, so anything 'macro' has its challenges. I've posted this because I rather liked the effect that resulted from using a hand held silver-foil reflector, in highlighting the hairs on the legs.

I like your effects here too. Very nice details. He seems suspended in mid air. I don't study spiders much, but I've never seen one this color. Love the highlighted web.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
i rather like this one, i like the placement of the spider in the shot and also where the web is, i hate spiders, but strangely i can deal with them when i have a camera to protect me! heheh
