Your bright idea has turned into a brilliant idea. I love to use my KTS.....Kitchen Table Studio...home made of course. This turned out wonderful. It would be a great entry for the contest.

Kidding, obviously. This stood out as I was browsing the new images. What caught my attention was the tonal range of the candles, with the translucent and reflected light working so well. The angle these candles were placed at (serious this time) was a very effective move, compositionally. Nicely done!
Faved and saved John. I think the experiment was a sucess. This contest is going to be a tough one. All the captures I have seen so far are really good and you just stepped it up another notch.
