A simple shot of an obelisk on Wychbury Hill, Worcestershire.

The graffiti says "Who put Bella in the witch-elm", relating to a gruesome local mystery.

What I liked about this view was the crisp edge to the stone edge.

Excellent angle and capture, I agree with you on the sharpness of the edges. It's a shame people have to do things like that on such a wonderful structure.

A nicely captured and presented photo, John. Good clarity and sharpness in the photo and good colours and lighting in the scene.

I love the way you captured the obelisk against a smoky cloudy sky, shame about the graffiti.

Nicely ballanced composition and good work. Your postwork makes it look like surreal or mystic. Lighting is great.
