Ummm yeah...This shot was taken while on a 10 hour drive back from Yellowstone National Park to Estes Park, Colorado. It is on the road next to Jackson Lake looking towards the Grand Tetons. The wildflowers in the foreground make this thing work.

This is a cool shot, but I think that the image would benefit a lot from a little brightness/contrast/color tweaking. The image looks a bit "foggy" right now and you'd be suprised how much an image will pop with just a few adjustments.

Agreeing with gitargr8, your picture does seem a bit foggy, but it's soft on the eyes, and I like that. I'll agree with you though, this image wouldn't be complete without the wildflowers in the foreground. Amazing capture overall, thanks for sharing it!

Yes, the flowers are the essential element here: not in and of themselves but to highlight the great distance to the mountains, and hence their size. The tweak suggested above should help, but regardless, this is a really good shot; well composed and captured! Cheers. - Dave
